About the project

Niks-M is a Ukrainian company specializing in the production of plastic windows and doors, as well as aluminum structures. The company owns its own factory and also collaborates with leading European companies that manufacture hardware. The company has been on the market for over 20 years, with a well-established dealer network in major cities of Ukraine and a positive reputation among consumers.

Previously, the company’s online experience was limited to placing information about the company in window company directories. At the same time, the company had a website, whose promotion once focused on purchasing backlinks.
In 2015, the company underwent a major rebranding. As a result, there was a need to restore the website’s functionality and establish effective online presence management.

Task:

  • Development and launch of the website.
  • Development of an online window calculator.
  • Promotion of the website for a number of queries in search results.
  • Preparation and launch of advertising campaigns in Google.

The goal of the collaboration between Niks-M and Blender agency was to update the overall image of the company online, increase customer interest in Niks-M products, and, as a result, boost the number of inquiries through the website.

Development of a calculator

Special attention was given to the development of the window calculator. The main task was to create a service that was as user-friendly and intuitive as possible, requiring minimal effort from the users.

Simple interaction algorithm:

  • Select window type. The user selects one of the standard window types based on the type of housing.
  • Configuration. The user configures the window with the necessary hardware, profile, and glazing unit.
  • Get an estimated price. As a result, the user receives an estimated price for the selected window.
  • Consultation offer. The user is offered to receive a consultation from a company representative.

Solution

  • The company's brand book suggested using clear lines and sharp angles, emphasizing the precision of the work performed by Niks-M. This continuity was maintained when designing the website.
  • On the homepage, the main sections with product descriptions are placed: windows, doors, aluminum structures, etc. When designing these sections, the necessary emotional component was considered—comfort, safety, and coziness.
  • For further promotion, a strategy was developed, which included lifting the website from search engine penalties, which it had fallen under due to low-quality backlinks.
  • The fight against penalties lasted about 9 months, but eventually, the site’s indexing was restored and no longer interfered.
  • The blog became almost a priority in the subsequent promotion strategy. The well-known phrase among internet marketers "Content is king!" became the cornerstone, and we carefully approached the creation of a publication plan and selecting a qualified copywriter.

Contextual advertising

  • The goal was to increase inquiries directly to the company’s main office.
  • The advertising was only targeted at the regional level.
  • Targeting was set for the city of Dnipro and surrounding cities.
  • A remarketing campaign was launched to re-engage website visitors.
